If a location has more than 100 seats and a full restaurant menu, then it can obtain a Class C Resort license. The first 550 Class C resort licenses are able to be transferred to any location in the state. A Class C Resort license directly from the State is still possible to get.

Specially Designated Distributor Liquor License (SDD) – The purchase of beer, wine, and spirits (such as vodka, tequila, and whiskey) by customers in their original packages for consumption outside of the licensed location is allowed.

Specially Designated Merchant License (SDM) – Permitting the sale of wine and beer to customers in their original packages for consumption away from the licensed location.

Steps to getting a Otsego County Liquor License
