Specially Designated Distributor Liquor License (SDD) –  Allowing the sale of beer, wine, and spirits (vodka, tequila, whiskey, etc.) to customers in their original packaging for consumption away from the licensed location.

Specially Designated Merchant License (SDM) – Customers are able to purchase wine and beer in their original packaging for consumption off of the licensed premises.

Steps to getting a Midland County Liquor License

  1. Select a location: In order to get a liquor license in Michigan, a Letter of Intent must be signed, or a lease or deed verifying you have the right to the premises must be shown.
