Specially Designated Distributor Liquor License (SDD) –  The sale of beer, wine, and spirits (like vodka, tequila, and whiskey) to customers in their original packages for consumption away from the licensed location is allowed.It is allowed for customers to purchase beer, wine, and spirits in their original packages for consumption away from the licensed location.

Specially Designated Merchant License (SDM) – It is allowed for customers to purchase beer and wine in their original packages for consumption away from the licensed location.

Steps to getting a Kalkaska County Liquor License

  1. Select a location: In order to get a liquor license in Michigan, a Letter of Intent must be signed, or a lease or deed demonstrating you have the right to the premises must be shown.
