The first 550 Class C resort licenses are transferable to any other location in the state. You can still get a Class C Resort license directly from the State.

Specially Designated Distributor Liquor License (SDD) –  The sale of beer, wine, and spirits (like vodka, tequila, and whiskey) to customers in their original packages for consumption away from the licensed location is allowed.It is allowed for customers to purchase beer, wine, and spirits in their original packages for consumption off-site.

Specially Designated Merchant License (SDM) – The sale of wine and beer to customers in their original packages for consumption away from the licensed location is possible.

Steps to getting a Delta County Liquor License

  1. Choose a location: To get a liquor license in Michigan, you will need to have a signed Letter of Intent or a lease or deed that verifies you have the right to the premises.
