What types of Liquor Licenses are available in Marquette County

Class C Tavern Liquor License –Permitting beer and wine to be sold on the premises.

Class C Liquor License – This license permits for customers to purchase beer, wine, and spirits (e.g. vodka, tequila, and whiskey) on premises. This license is used in bars and restaurants and does not have a seating or food requirement.

Class C Resort License – This license permits for customers to purchase beer, wine, and spirits (e.g. vodka, tequila, and whiskey) on premises. This license allows bars and restaurants to sell alcohol without needing a seating or food requirement. In order to obtain a Class C Resort license your location must have more than 100 seats and a full restaurant menu. The first 550 Class C resort licenses are transferable to any other location in the state. One can still get a Class C Resort license directly from the State.

Specially Designated Distributor Liquor License (SDD) – The purchase of beer, wine, and spirits (such as vodka, tequila, and whiskey) by customers in their original packages for consumption outside of the licensed location is allowed.

Specially Designated Merchant License (SDM) – The sale of wine and beer to customers in their original packages for consumption away from the licensed location is possible.

Steps to getting a Marquette County Liquor License
